One of the major focus of our research activities is Gas-to-liquids technology and natural gas monetization which is the main source of wealth for the state of Qatar.

Prof. Nimir Elbashir’s research team’s vision is to establish a world-class research base that leverages local and global collaborations in order to build a state-of-the-art center of excellence in gas processing, petrochemicals and catalysis areas.
