Ahmed Omran, a member of the CaRE-FUEL team and a graduate student working with Prof. Nimir Elbashir, has successfully defended his Master thesis in Chemical Engineering Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar. The title for his thesis was “DFT Study of Copper-Nickel(111) Catalyst For Methane Dry Reforming”. His M. S. thesis was a part of the larger NPRP-Exceptional Proposal granted to Prof. Nimir Elbashir.
